Lan Je Talapia Fish Shop at Kota Damansara

Last year our tai ka je Ms.Choo bring a group of us to Rawag, try the famous " Lan Je Talapia fish ". It was so delicious. the memory is still very freash in my mind how we enjoy the steam fresh talapia fish.
Recently I discover that Lan Je have open a new branch at Kota Damansara. Knew the location but did't make the effort to go and try the fish. Still got some doubt in my mind; are this one is as nice as the main shop at Rawang?
Yesterday me and Tony decided to go and try the fish. We have been talking about it for sometime. I have told him that the one I tasted at Rawang was very nice. We reach the shop around 8.10pm, luckily there are planty of parking space around that area. It is a new shoplot area. 80% of the shop is still not rented out. The 2 shoplots at the corner was full of people. Initially Tony was very reluctant to go in , because he saw the crowd and he don't like to wait.
At the end we managed to found a place to sit. Waited for sometime, the waitress are so busy runing here and there. When the witress come to take order, she told us that there is no more fish available....
oh... I was a bit dissapoitted as when I saw the crowd I knew that the taste must be nice. I requst to check and again and we only want to order one fish to share amoung us. At the end she bring the good news, said got one fish for us. I am happy that at least can can eat the fish again.
We wait and wait, smell and see the fish come out from kitchen one by one but it is not for our table. Tony waited until he is complainting that he felt very hungry and go out for a walk. At the end around 9pm, our fish is served.
The fish taste as nice as the rawang shop, fresh and delicious.... yammy.....
After taste the fish, Tony finally said it is worth for the waiting time and want to come again... ... hahahha...
Normally talapia fish have a smell but the way they cook cover all the smell , you only can taste the freshness of the fish, the ginger, chili padi and source..... ! Lan Je is really a talapia fish specialist.... !
We called one fish, fried cha tan, and kong poh chicken. The price is resonable also.
If you like fish, and don't mind waiting for good food, can give it a try. From the poster posted on the wall and newspaper cutting,we get to know that now there are also one branch at Balakong. You can" book " the fish but not the table. The operation hours is 11.30am-3.00pm, 6pm-9pm. Closed on Tuesday. The shop is pork free. According to the waitress, lunch time have plenty of fish available, do not need to book the fish. But if you want to come for dinner, you can call 012-6633319 or 016-6189919 to book the fish. The address for the shop is : F-50G,Jalan Technologi 3/9,Bistari "DE" Kota, Kota Damansara PJU 5, 47810, PJ, Selangor.
hemmm ... I must tell our tai ka je Ms.Choo about this, I am sure she will more then reluctant to come since it is nearer then Rawang.
